Continuous Medical Education symposium in Antwerp

The Descartes working group ( is organizing a Continuous Medical Education symposium in Antwerp, Belgium on Friday, October 13th 2017.

With transplantation medicine constantly moving on, we offer you state-of-the-art talks by experts in the field on topics such as eplet matching, donor-specific antibodies, the most recent trials in kidney transplantation, and the cardio-vascular workup that should be done before transplantation in high-risk candidates. The afternoon will be devoted to interactive workshops sessions in small groups with experts in the fields. All details at:

We also encourage you to submit an abstract on kidney transplantation (any topic) following the NDT format instructions: max. 250~300 words (excl. names and affiliations); four paragraphs labelled `Background', `Methods', `Results' and `Conclusions'. The 3 best abstracts will be presented during the symposium. The 3 laureates will have all theirs costs covered, and will receive a grant of €1000, €750 and €500 respectively according to their rankings. Submission must be done by email to .
